GREAT concert at YMCA of the Rockies, and so fun to connect with "Pierre Roots." Best wishes for continued success--maybe our paths will cross again someday!

So glad to meet Mary in the parking lot as I was trying to decide what to do......I bought a ticket to ride with Dakota Blonde and The Alpine Chorus on The Road Home. This unique experience with lovely solo's, and The Road Home Requiem for the 2004-2005 disasters; Tsunami & Katrina, not to mention, Mary's Car. This feel good quartet of fluid musicianship of Don Pinnella Tony Raddell and Guest Ernie Martinez oozes Professionalism with that fun factor in the lead by Mary Huskins, angel voice accompanied by a celestial Alpine Chorus with Director\conductor Dr. David Farwig, made for a beautiful poginant evening of smooth harmonies and powerful message. I enjoyed every minute, a record must be made. Let's make a record!?

Hey Mary, Here is a space in time you may or may not remember though I sincerely hope you do. Long, long ago in a place so very near I worked for the phone company out of Evergreen very near the turnaround on hwy 73 there at Turkey Creek Canyon. Well this was back in the Chris Shtongel days before he was married and you were helping a good friend of yours out selling coffee out of her bumper pull trailer. I don't remember how I heard that you were so close and actually there though I drove up in my phone repairman truck and met you there as you sold me coffee. Soon afterward I hauled downhill to the local Little Bear and listened to the three of you touring "Something Simple". Well for me it was such an amazing record I've been a fan since. As a matter of fact today in the mail I just received two more of your records though in a smaller size. I listen a lot though I don't get out often anymore though after my upcoming medical procedure/procedures and rehab I'll pick up my own six and twelve stringed things again. It's difficult to play when both of your shoulders need replaced......yikes!! I'll get though it fine and I hope to see the band again in the future. Oh....by the way my first take was that you were trying to sound like all the other "Shanaynay's" running around not doing much. When I listened more closely I realized you are the most blessed female vocalist and talent I've ever heard in my life. Alison Krauss is pretty good too...Please give yourself a hug for me and I sincerely hope to see you sometime towards the middle of 2018.....hopefully someplace local. Oh and the first time I did see you and your fantastic band everyone was very gracious and welcoming...a little later I had to go upstairs and hide because your angelic voice brought me to tears. Joe

Hi guys, not really sure who gets these. Your show last night at Nissi's was really awesome. The addition of Kristi for the entire show was great ! I especially enjoyed "The Wind Jig". I was expecting to be mesmerized with Ernie's mandolin playing, but when I heard Kristi playing the Harp, WOW!! That was so much fun to watch and hear the two of them playing together. My daughter, Shawna, is looking forward to seeing and hearing y'all again soon. She also had a wonderful time hearing you and meeting you. Good job, made the night a wonderful time.

I so enjoyed your two concerts at the YMCA of the Rockies this summer, and I want you to know how very much your beautiful music has come to mean to me. Year after year your band manages to transmit a goodness and decency and a sense of basic happiness that we all need so desperately. It has lifted me up and given me back my positive perspective that sometimes life has drained away. So precious and so inspiring! This is why I know the words to your songs and why I am already looking forward to your concerts next summer. You make a positive difference in my world!
